| About Me and My Company I want people to be extremely successful and make tons of money, doing what they love, what makes their soul sing, being fully expressed, living their values, knowing there is a place for them and seeing the world and all it's inhabitants as resourceful and capable...seeing the value of the reality of all that is and living and working from that reality...to create a better world for all of us. My background. Where to start? From the time I was 20 I have been working very hard at learning and growing to do the things I need to do, to be the person I want to be and have the life I desire. As my personal life changed my work life was impacted. For years I worked in corporate America. Doing jobs to pay the bills, doing what everyone did. Somewhere along the way I realized I was selling my life for a salary - an hour of my life for $$. That didn't seem right to me. So, I decided that whatever I did, whatever job, it had to offer me more than just a paycheck. I needed to be learning, growing, and making a difference in some way, and to love what I did.
I'm going to do this for ten years. I really don't like it very well, but I'll do ten more years of this and...' I mean, that's a little like saving up sex for your old age. " My last two corporate jobs were managing a doctors office/weight management program and working in Community Relations for a bank. (The part of the bank that gives back to the community and makes sure they are being fair. The bank was owned and operated by a family that was values driven and philanthropic and had a wonderful corporate volunteer program.) Next, I worked for non-profits. I learned something else. I wanted to work for companies that not only had a mission and a purpose but were effective and efficient. I wasn't finding that with non-profits. They were weak. They were focused on looking at the weakness in the world, seeing people as victims to rescue. They weren't seeing people as capable and resourceful. They may have been out to save the world but they weren't doing a good job. They spent their time talking about the bad in the world, whining, playing small and being somewhat powerless. I learned that I only wanted to work for (sell hours of my life) for something I believed in, valued and that really made their difference.
feed him for a lifetime." Lao Tzu So...What to do next? You're looking at it. I went to coaching school and started coaching. It's everything I wanted. I love it. It's challenging, it stretches me, sometimes I work 16 hour days and I absolutely love it. I love the experience my clients have in getting to know themselves, experience how truly resourceful and magnificent they are, how their unique way works so well for them... and how they can do what has meaning to them and create lives they love...experiencing the value of their reality ;). We are such amazing beings and given the right support (especially from within) we can do anything.
